University of Sioux Falls Athletics

Markhus Taylor enters his second season with the University of Sioux Falls Football team as the coach for the cornerbacks. This follows a one year stint as a running backs coach at the University of Dubuque, a Division III institution in Dubuque, Iowa.

In the 2023 season Cougar Football finished the season 3-8 and 9th in conference standings. They also had 8 athletes awarded All-Academic team and 10 athletes awarded All-Academic team of Excellence.

Prior to his coaching career, Taylor was a cornerback at Dubuque where he also earned his bachelors in health science. Taylor is currently pursuing a master's in business from the University of Sioux Falls.
