University of Sioux Falls Athletics

Michael Buetow enters his second season with the University of Sioux Falls Football Team as the Defensive Tackles Coach.

In the 2023 season Cougar Football finished the season 3-8 and 9th in conference standings. They also had 8 athletes awarded All-Academic team and 10 athletes awarded All-Academic team of Excellence.

He joins Glogowski's staff following a one year stint at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire as their defensive line coach. Prior to UWEC, Buetow was a defensive tackle at North Dakota State where he started for the Bison and was a part of the 2022 FCS Championship team.

Prior to NDSU, Buetow was a three-time NSIC Conference Champion with Minnesota State where he was named a 2019 All-NSIC Defensive Linemen.

Buetow currently holds a bachelor's degree in university studies from North Dakota State University.
