Ryan Springer

Ryan Springer enters his third season with the University of Sioux Falls Football team as their offensive line coach.

In the 2024 season Cougar Football finished the season 8-3 and t-2nd in conference standings. They also had 13 student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Conference teams, 15 athletes awarded All-Academic team and 20 athletes awarded All-Academic team of Excellence.

Springer previously held a three year stint at Carroll College, a NAIA in Helena, Montana. During his time there he served as the offensive line and tight ends coach as well as their strength and conditioning coach. Springer coached three All-Americas along with nine all-conference athletes. He helped lead the Fighting Saints to two Frontier Conference Championships in 2021 and 2022.

Prior to Carroll, Springer worked under USF native and head coach Chuck Morrell at Montana Tech where he served as the offensive line coach for the Orediggers. Springer also served as the offensive line coach at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon from 2015 and again from 2017 to 2018. To fill the gap, Springer served as an offensive line graduate assistant at Fresno State University before returning to the Bearcats.

Springer received his bachelors in exercise science from Willamette University. During his time, he served as a team captain while also being named a two-time all-conference offensive lineman. In 2018, he received his master's in education curriculum and instruction from Fresno State University.

Springer and his wife, Meighan, currently reside in Sioux Falls.
