Xavier Jackson

Xavier Jackson is in his second year as the running backs coach for the University of Sioux Falls Football Team.

In the 2023 season Cougar Football finished the season 3-8 and 9th in conference standings. They also had 5 student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Conference teams, 8 athletes awarded All-Academic team and 10 athletes awarded All-Academic team of Excellence.

Jackson enters his coaching career following his senior season at the University of Central Missouri where he rushed for 388 yards and four touchdowns, while being named to the All-MIAA team.

Prior to UCM, Jackson played for the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers. He played two seasons at the College of DuPage where he was the Chaparrals second leading rusher with 426 yards and five touchdowns. He was also their second leading receiver with 243 yards and two touchdowns.

Jackson holds an associate's degree as well as his bachelor’s in sports management. He is currently pursuing his masters in sports management from the University of Central Missouri.
