2025 (Junior)
Played in seven games for the Cougars, totaling 14 tackles with eight solo stops and six assisted tackles. Recorded 4.5 tackles for loss for 23 yards, including two sacks for 15 yards, and added one pass breakup.
2024 (Sophomore)
As a sophomore, Dawson appeared in all 11 games for the Cougars. He totaled 25 tackles on the year, including 14 solo and 11 assisted stops. He also recorded 1.5 sacks, one pass defended, and one forced fumble. For his performance in the classroom, he earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors and was named to the CSC Academic All-District® Team.
2023 (Freshman)
In his debut season, Dawson played in 10 games. He registered 14 total tackles, with six solo and eight assisted.
High School
Dawson was a multi-sport athlete at Pierce High School, competing in football, basketball, wrestling, and track. On the football field, he was a 2022 All-State First Team selection on the defensive line and earned All-State Honorable Mention honors in 2020 from the Omaha World-Herald. He was named to the All-Area Third Team by the Norfolk Daily News in 2021 and was a First Team All-District defensive selection. His high school team captured the 2020 state championship and finished as runner-up in 2019 and 2021. He also qualified for state competition in both wrestling and track & field in 2021.

He is the son of Jim and Sherry Raabe and has three siblings: Jensen, Walker, and Hunter.
