High School: Starred at Broken Arrow HS for coach David Alexander…led the team to an 11-2 record, including 7-0 in league play, and a berth in state title game…Broken Arrow was 18-6 last two years…two other teammates (Austin Vickers, Javian Ivy) from Broken Arrow HS signed with the Cougars...in his career, registered 41 solo tackles and 107 overall with 5.5 tackles for loss and five sacks for 32 yards in losses as well as three interceptions, three fumble recoveries and five forced fumbles…also averaged 23.0 yards on kickoff returns and 12.5 on punt returns…had three TDs, including two rushing (66 yards, nine carries) and an 80-yard KO return for a TD…as senior had 21 solo tackles and 64 total tackles…recorded all five sacks as a senior and had all three of his interceptions as a senior…named District 6A1-1 Special Teams Player of the Year…District 6 A 1-1 All District…selected to All-Metro second team…also played baseball…earned Academic Honorable Mention honors…

Personal: received Sons of the American Revolution Outstanding Citizen Award…involved in service including Salvation Army Challenger Basketball (for special needs children), Toys program, Blue Star Mothers food drive, Strike Out MS program and Tulsa Drillers Canner Food Drive…son of Jessica Welch and Chris Johnson…siblings include Daeja, Dietrich and Kyran
