High School

Ironshell was a standout on the football field for Columbine, earning All-Conference honors three times and being named an All-State selection. He helped lead his team to a state championship and was a four-year letterwinner. In his senior season, he recorded 56 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He also excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-Conference honors and placement on the Academic Honor Roll.

DJ is the son of Dustin Ironshell and Tam Tran.
