2019 - Named Academic All-NSIC...in first season with Cougars, played in 12 games with 12 starts...totaled 32 tackles with 17 solo stops...had a tackle for loss...also recorded an interception against Minnesota Duluth in a 34-3 win...also recorded six breakups and seven passes defended...three times had five or more tackles with a career-high seven against Colorado Mines in the DII playoffs on Nov. 23...had five tackles and a tackle for loss against Northern State on Oct. 26...against No. 1 Minnesota State on Nov. 2, had a regular season high of six tackles, including a career-best five solo stops, along with two pass breakups...recorded at least one tackle in 11-of-12 games...part of USF defense to rank fourth in DII with a 260.7 yards per game allowed and 14^th in scoring defense at 17.3 points allowed per game...Coo also in national ranks fifth in passing efficiency defense at 94.15...USF was also 12th in passing yards allowed at 161.8 yards per game and finished 16th against the rush (98.8 yards, 2.98 yards per carry) in DII

2018 - A standout football player from Chaffey College...transferred to USF and will be a junior... recorded 63 tackles, three interceptions, and 12 pass breakups at Chaffey College.

HIGH SCHOOL - had a standout prep career at Redlands HS...played for head coach Jim Walker... played wide receiver and defensive back at Redlands HS...named All-Citrus Belt Conference, All-San Bernardino County, and all-state...as a junior had 99 tackles, five interceptions and 10 pass breakups...as a senior recorded 101 tackles, five interceptions and 11 pass breakups...also a standout volleyball player, playing middle on a two-time state high school championship team...community service includes volunteering at Ronald McDonald House.

PERSONAL - son of Monique Lucas and Bennie Federick...brother Ryan plays football at Memphis...has seven brothers and a sister including Ronald, Brandon, Ryan, Adrian, Randy, Henry, and Bennie and Deviarre...business administration major.
