HIGH SCHOOL -- Talented tight end from Waukee HS... recorded 64 receptions for 739 yards and five TDs in his career... three-time letter winner,... hauled in 29 receptions for 374 yards (12.4 ypc) and had three TDs as a senior... had 34 catches for 365 yards (10.7 ypc) with two TDs as a junior... also had three sacks on defense and a reception for 15 yards as a sophomore... four-sport standout (football, basketball, wrestling and track)... named third-team All-State in football and first-team All-District twice... lettered in track three times and wrestling once.
