In 2024, Gavin played in nine games and tallied 10 total tackles, including four solo and six assisted. He recorded a season and career-high performance at Morehead State. He redshirted in 2023 to preserve a season of eligibility. He earned a spot on the 2023 Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll.
