- During his career the three-time All-Great Plains Conference pick finished with 296 tackles
- Four times earned all conference honors in football and three times was recognized all-league in basketball
- Four time team captain in football and basketball
- Selected to the Argus Leader Elite 45 Team as a senior
- Named Gatorade 9A Player of the Year in football and was a NHSACA All-American
- Also was a state placer in track and field
