High School
Schwarte was an offensive lineman for Treynor High School where he also competed in basketball and track. He earned many honors during his high school career, notably being an All-State, All-Conference, and All Out of City honoree.

He is the son of Kimberly Schwarte and has two siblings, Jacob and Jon.
