Sissoko graduated from Sioux Falls Jefferson High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where he competed in football for the Cavaliers. He earned multiple academic distinctions, including National Honor Society, Academic All-State, the Academic Excellence Award, and Scholar-Athlete recognition. He also competed with Bauers Elite.

Sissoko is the son of Teresa Sissoko and has four siblings: Kianna (20), Becca (26), Grace (26), and Isaac (28).
