Konkler redshirted during his first season with the Cougars.

High School

At Spring Lake Park, he competed in football and basketball for the Panthers. He was named an All-District safety and served as a team captain. Konkler recorded 52 tackles, three pass break-ups, and recovered one fumble for 14 yards during his senior season.
