CAREER: Two-time second team All-NSIC selection… part of program's first-ever NSIC Championship squad in a 12-1 campaign, including 11-0 in league play in 2016…recorded career numbers of 121 tackles, including 74 solo stops, 12 TFLs, nine passes defended and 4.5 sacks…had one interception and returned it 67 yards for TD against Upper Iowa on Nov. 4, 2017.
2017: named second team All-NSIC on USF team that finished ranked No. 20 nationally (AFCA) with a 9-3 record with a fourth straight postseason berth…ranked fourth in the team with 54 tackles, including 31 solo stops in 12 games…had 10.5 TFLs for -38 yards…had 3.5 sacks for -22 yards…had an interception return for 67 yards for a TD vs. Upper Iowa on Nov. 4……had five pass breakups…four quarterback hurries…part of defense that ranked third in total defense (244.3 yards), second in rushing defense (67.3 yards per game), second in scoring defense (12.5 yards per game) and eight in sacks (40, 6th all-time at USF) in NCAA DII…tied a career-high with eight tackles, including four solo stops, two TFLs, sack and pass breakup, in 26-7 win over No. 8 Minnesota Duluth in the opener…had six or more tackles four times…had six tackles with 0.5 sack against Concordia St. Paul on Oct. 21…registered six stops and 0.5 sacks in 27-23 loss to No. 1 Minnesota State…registered six tackles with TFL and half sack in 24-20 setback to No. 5 Midwestern State in the NCAA DII playoffs first round in Wichita Falls, Texas on Nov. 18…also had five tackles, two TFLs and sack in 34-0 win over Minnesota Crookston…registered four solo stops and two TFLs in 24-10 win over Southwest Minnesota State.
2016: played key role in helping USF go 11-0 in the league, 12-1 overall, and reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA DII playoffs... named to All-NSIC second team…key player for team that ranked second in the NSIC and 19th nationally in scoring defense (18.6 ppg), second in the league and 39th nationally in rushing defense (111.8 ypg), 12th nationally and second in the NSIC in interceptions and second in total defense (348.1 ypg), 16th nationally and fourth in the NSIC in team sacks (3.23 per game), while ranking 25th in DII in turnovers gained (27).. ranked third on the team with 67 tackles, including 43 unassisted stops...played and started 13 games...recorded 1.5 tackles for losses of eight yards...had a sack (-7 yards vs. Bemidji State, 9/24/17), interception vs. Wayne State (11/12/17), three pass breakups and a quarterback hurry...had seven times recorded at least seven tackles in a game...had a season high nine tackles twice including vs. Winona State (10/15/17) and against Bemidji State (9/24/17)...registered season/career eight solo tackles against Winona State and Southwest Minnesota State (10/8/17).
2014 - 2015 (CHABOT COLLEGE): Starred at Chabot College where he was two-time first team all-conference and two-year team captain…had 74 total tackles, including 54 solo, 3.5 sacks, 10 TFLs, and two interceptions.
HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior at Granada HS, had 107 tackles (81 solos) with two interceptions…also recorded 31 receptions for 342 yards and three TDs while rushing 67 times for 508 yards and seven TDs...had 170 career tackles and three interceptions…named EBAL first team and third team as a defensive back…also wrestled and played baseball…earned All-EBAL honors and ranked top 12 in state in wrestling…finished 46-6 in wrestling as a senior…service works includes participating in walks for Alzheimer’s, ALS and Autism, and helping at Special Olympics.
