CAREER - In 34 games has registered 24 starts with 127 career tackles of which 79 are solo stops...has recorded 3.5 tackles for loss with two interceptions....also has nine passes defended and eight pass breakups...led USF to 24-11 record in three seasons with two playoff berths (2017, 2019)...twice in three years part of a defense that ranked among top five nationally in total defense...seven times in his career has had six or more tackles with a career-high 13 vs Colorado Mines in a 24-21 loss on Nov. 23, 2019.

2020- Named to the Academic All-NSIC Team.. season canceled due to CoVID-19 pandemic.

2019 - Part of USF defense to rank fourth in DII with a 260.7 yards per game allowed and 14^th in scoring defense at 17.3 points allowed per game...Coo also in national ranks fifth in passing efficiency defense at 94.15...USF was also 12th in passing yards allowed at 161.8 yards per game and finished 16th against the rush (98.8 yards, 2.98 yards per carry) in DII....registered 12 starts with 51 tackles with 32 solo stops...had 2.5 tackles for loss for minus four yards...recorded an interception (seven yards return) in 34-12 win over Winona State on Sept. 14...set a career-high with 13 tackles (four solo) and pass breakup in the 24-21 playoff loss at Colorado Mines on Nov. 23...six times recorded five or more tackles...set a career-mark with seven solo tackles (seven total tackles) in a 35-13 road win over Northern State.

2018 -- Key member of defense that ranked 21st in DII and third in the NSIC in scoring defense (19.0 ppg), 32nd in DII and sixth in the NSIC in rushing defense (120.2 ypg), 54th in DII and four in the NSIC in total defense (339.8 ypg)...helped lead USF to a 7-4 record...had 41 tackles with 25 solo stops...recorded a TFL, intercepton for 18 yards and a paa breakup...had tackles in nine of his 11 games....made 11 starts....had a career high 11 tackles with career-best seven solo stops against Bemidji State on 10-6-18...four times had at least four tackles and three times had three or more stops...had six tackles and an interception for 18 yard return against Concordia St. Paul in USF's thrilling come-from-behind win over Concordia St. Paul on 8-30-18...registered eight tackles with four solo stops in USF's 51-13 "Key to the City" win over Augustana on 9-22-18 at Kirkeby-Over Stadium as USF defeated their rivals for the sixth time in seven meetings in DII era.

2017 - Talented special teams performer who also played important role in secondary...played in 11 games for the 9-3 USF Football Team that reached the postseason for a fourth straight year and third straight NCAA DII appearance...key member of defense as USF fielded one of the nation's best defenses in 2017, ranking second in DII in total defense (244.3 yards per game), second in scoring defense (12.5 ppg), third nationally  in rushing yards per game (67.8 yards per game), seventh in first down defense (158) and ninth in sacks (3.33 per game, 40 total)...had 10 tackles including four solo stops...had career-best three tackles with two solo stops in win over Upper Iowa on Nov. 4.

2016 - Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL - Starred as a standout defensive back, linebacker and punter for SF Roosevelt, played for head coach Kim Nelson…three-year starter and team captain in 2014 and 2015…two-time SD 11AAA all-state first team selection…named to All-City Team…set Roosevelt High School record for punting average and longest punt…named “Rookie of the Year” as a sophomore…also played Basketball...attended Boys State.

PERSONAL: Member of FCA, Church Youth Group, Cancer Awareness Club, and Honor Roll… son of Tom and Marla Durfee…has two brothers, Jason and Tyler...spouse - Kori... Master of Business Administration/exercise science major.
