2015 (JUNIOR): appeared in 12 games… recorded 41 total tackles… 20 solo and 21 assisted… recorded 4.5 tackles for loss… totaled 2.0 sacks… recorded a career high 13 tackles vs. Upper Iowa on Nov. 14 with four solo and nine assisted… recovered two fumbles on the season… one fumble recovery vs. Southwest Minnesota on Oct. 17 and one recovery vs. Upper Iowa on Nov. 14… two fumbles recovered ranked 6^th in NSIC and 44^th in Division II…recorded four games of four or more tackles… earned NSIC All-Academic Team

2014 (SOPHOMORE): played 12 games as a reserve linebacker and special teams dynamo...had 22 tackles, including 18 solo stops...finished with two TFLs for -9 yards in losses...had a quarterback sack (eight-yard loss), pass breakup and quarterback hurry...recorded a career-best five tackles, all solo stops, along with a TFL and a quarterback sack against Southwest Minnesota State (10/18)...had four tackles, all solo stops, in win over Concordia, St. Paul (10/4)...seven times recorded two tackles or more.

2013 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Second-year player that appeared in five games…primarily saw action on special teams…recorded his first career tackle in the win against Minnesota Crookston…was credited with two solo stops for a loss of four yards and also forced a fumble at Concordia-St. Paul…had one assisted tackle at Upper Iowa.

2012 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Waukee…three-year letterman for the Warriors...earned 4-A all-state, academic all-state and all-conference (CIML) honors as a senior...also named Warrior of the Year & defensive MVP by his teammates...holds four Waukee track & field records in hurdles and the pentathlon...member of student council and FCA...graduated with honors.

PERSONAL: Son of Erik & Heidi Lucs...born Mar. 8, 1994...has one brother, Nick, who was a high jumper at Iowa State…exercise science major...career goal to become a physical therapist...has taught vacation bible school, served as a team leader at various kid camps and enjoys packaging meals for "Meals from the Heartland."
