Biography

CAREER: Two-time Academic All-NSIC honoree...named honorable mention All-NSIC in 2018...... has graded at 83 percent with 185 knockdowns...played on two playoff teams and part of a team that has gone 28-8  in the past three seasons...19 times has had a grade of 80 percent or better in his career...graded over 90 percent twice.

2018 - Started all 11 games and part of NSIC's most productive offense (466.5 total yards per game) and No. 19 offense in NCAA DII...also played a role at center for USF, which led the NSIC and was fifth-ranked in NCAA DII in rushing at 274.2 yards per game...had a strong season in 2018...earned his first-ever All-NSIC honorable mention honor...has made 23 straight starts....called the offensive line signals on the league's top offense...graded at 85.6 percent (610 positive reps in 713 plays) with 60.5 knockdowns...had a grade of 88 percent or better four times with a high of 96 percent against Minot State on 9-22-18 when USF tied a program mark with 444 rushing yards and rolled up 620 yards in total offense...graded at 91 percent with a season-high 9.5 knockdowns in the win over Upper Iowa... .in USF's 51-13 "Key to the City" win over Augustana, had a 88.06 percent grade with six knockdowns and no sacks allowed...graded 84.5 percent with 56 positive plays in 66 snaps with eight knockdowns and did not allow a sack vs. No. 1 Minnesota State on 11-3-18...had a 89.13 grade with 41 positive plays in 46 snaps as USF rolled up 583 yards in total offense and 404 rushing yards against MSU Moorhead on 11-20-18...part of offensive line that helped Gabriel set a school game rushing mark with 320 yards...allowed three sacks in 713 plays....eight times in 11 games had a grade of 80 percent or better...part of offensive line that helped Gabriel Watson rush for school record 1,857 yards and 3,011 yards overall which ranked second in USF's program history.

2017: Named to Academic All-NSIC squad…started all 12 games for the 9-3 USF Football Team which advanced to the postseason for a fourth consecutive year, including a third straight season in the NCAA DII playoffs…part of an offense that ranked fifth in the NSIC in total offense at 381.1 yards per game…helped USF rank fifth in the NSIC in rushing at 190.3 yards per game…for the season, graded at 79.7 percent, making 685 positive reps in 859 plays…allowed just one sack and recorded the second most knockdowns with 94…in opener, graded 69.18 percent with five knockdowns and 43 positive plays in 67 reps in win over No. 8 Minnesota Duluth on Aug. 31….graded 77.78 percent with 56 positive reps in 72 plays and seven knockdowns against Northern State on Sept. 9….registered 86.40 percent with 63 positive plays in 73 reps with 14 knockdowns against U-Mary on Sept. 16…in a 34-0 win over Minnesota Crookston on Sept. 23, had a 77.78 percent grade with 12 knockdowns on 56 positive plays in 72 reps…had a 83.12 percent grade with nine knockdowns in 64 positive plays on 77 reps in win over SMSU on Sept. 30…recorded a 81.33 percent grade with four knockdowns with 61 positive reps in 75 plays against No. 22 Winona State on Oct. 7….recorded a 74.29 percent grade with 52 positive reps in 70 plays and allowed only sack on season with three knockdowns in 31-7 road win at Wayne State on Oct. 12….in a road win at Concordia St. Paul on Oct. 21, had an 80.26 grade with 12 knockdowns, 61 positive reps in 76 plays…had his top grade of 88.89 percent in the 21-14 “Key to the City” win over city rival Augustana on Oct. 28 at Bob Young Field…had 64 positive reps on 72 plays with eight knockdowns…in road win over Upper Iowa on Nov. 4, registered an 80 percent grade with 10 knockdowns on 56 positive reps in 70 plays…against No. 1 Minnesota State on Nov. 11 had an 86.96 percent grade with one knockdown, 60 positive reps in 69 plays…had a 74.24 grade with six knockdowns on 49 positive plays in 66 reps in a 24-20 loss to No. 5 Midwestern State in NCAA DII playoffs in Wichita Falls, Kan.

2016: Sat out season due to injury.

2015 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Appeared in eight games… a member of one of the nation’s top offensive lines as HERO Sports named the USF offensive line #4 in NCAA DII…  member of offensive line that only allowed five sacks all year, good for 1st in NCAA Division II… played a key role in an offense that averaged 39.3 points per game, good for 16th in NCAA Division II and 3rd in NSIC… offense averaged 472.1 yards per game, ranked 19th in NCAA Division II and 3rd in NSIC… scored 472 points… helped lead rush offense of 190.9 yards per game, 5th in NSIC, and a passing offense of 281.2 yards per game, 5th in NSIC… helped protect Harlon Hill Candidate Luke Papilion… offense generated 64 touchdowns… the USF offensive front did not allow a sack in 9-of-12 games…

HIGH SCHOOL: 2013 Fond de Lac Reporter's Defensive Player of the Year...credited with 90 tackles (46 solo) for the Laconia High School (Rosendale, Wisc.) Spartans (8-3), who made it to the second round of the Wisconsin high school playoffs...started both ways at offensive and defensive tackle...Flyway Conference First Team unanimous selection...named all region defensive tackle and honorable mention all-state as a defense tackle...finished his prep career with 145 tackles, including 61 solo stops, two sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception...was a two-time all-conference wrestler and named second team all-state twice (junior, senior) in Wrestling...was FFA vice president and named to the National Honor Society...
