Member of the USF Football Team and earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors.

Huntimer competed in football at Jefferson High School, earning first team All-State honors in the Metro Athletic Conference. He was named offensive lineman of the state championship game and recognized for Academic All-State honors.

Sawyer is the son of Angie and Chuck Huntimer. He has two siblings, Seth and Sydney.
