2014 (SOPHOMORE):Â allowed 1.5 sacks with a 91.9% grade average... recorded 33 knockdowns...Part of offensive line that paved way for a 1,000 yard rusher (Nephi Garcia, 1,190 yards) for second straight year...played key role in offense that had the nation's 7th most points (42.7 ppg) and 17th best nationally (2nd, NSIC) in total offense at 483.2 yards per game...offense scored 512 points...helped lead rush offense (4th, NSIC) that had 2,559 rushing yards (213.2.2 yards per game)and 30 TDs (4th NSIC)...also protected in pass offense (6th, NSIC) that generated 3,239 yards and 29 TDs...part of offensive line that allowed 24 sacks (9th, NSIC) in 12 games...offensive line allowed just one or fewer sacks in six games and did not give up a sack in the final two games (wins over Wayne State and Central Oklahoma - Mineral Water Bowl). In fact over the final five games, allowed more than one sack just once...named to the 2014 All-NSIC Academic squad.
2013 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Took over the starting duties at left tackle for departed All-NSIC performer Erick Marquez…started all 11 games and quickly emerged as one of the Cougars’ best pass blockers…an integral part of an offensive front that ranked 68th nationally and seventh in the NSIC for fewest sacks allowed per game (1.73)…blocked for 245.9 yards per game on the ground (18th nationally and fourth in the NSIC) while helping account for 222.0 yards through the air for 467.9 yards of total offense (26th nationally, third in the NSIC), which ranked as the most for the Cougars since the 2009 season... helped the Cougars set a school record with 680 total yards, including 467 on the ground and 213 in the air against Minnesota Crookston...Cougars did not allow a sack against Crookston, Northern State or Augustana College…one of three returning starters on the offensive line.
2012 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Yankton High School...participated in football, basketball and track & field for the Bucks...Football Academic All-State...lettered in all three sports...member of National Honor Society, Y-Club, and Pioneer Club.
PERSONAL: Son of Dennis and Karen Huber...born September 29, 1993...has four siblings: Jeremy, Chet, Jennifer and Nickie…education major with a minor in business…wants to be a teacher.
