2015 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): appeared in one game vs. Mary on Sept. 5…

2014 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE): Appeared in two games…recorded three tackles (2 solo, 1 assist)... two tackles against Bemidji State (9/13/14) and one against MSU Moorhead (9/27/14)

2012 - 2013 (FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE): Played free safety at the College of the Canyons (Calif.), where he was credited with 13 tackles in nine games as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played football at Montclair College Preparatory School under Reggie Smith, Jr…named an all-conference free safety after his senior year...also ran track and as a senior qualified for the Junior Olympics in the 400 meter dash...logged 30 hours of community service his senior year.

PERSONAL: Birthday is May 21, 1993...son of Derik and Kimberly Hixon...has one sister, Audrey and a brother, Jake ...served as defensive coordinator for his brother's Pop Warner team.
