HIGH SCHOOL: local product that competed in baseball, basketball and football for O'Gorman High School...secured first team all-state honors as a pitcher and was named a first team all-conference baseball selection...also captured all-region, all-city and second team all-state honors in basketball.
PERSONAL: Son of Chuck and Barb Hughes… has one sister, Alex (25)...secondary education and history double-major...goal is to be a high school history teacher and to coach...favorite athlete is Torii Hunter...has coached three straight runner-up teams in the state baseball tournament.
