2024-2026 (Dakota Wesleyan)
Ernsberger spent two seasons at Dakota Wesleyan, emerging as one of the GPAC's premier pitchers. As a freshman in 2025, she earned GPAC Freshman of the Year honors while posting a 20-8 record with one save across 34 appearances and 26 starts. She logged 189.0 innings, recording a 2.78 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 175 strikeouts while leading the Tigers in wins, innings pitched, and strikeouts. She followed with another standout campaign in 2026, making 30 appearances and compiling a 16-8 record over 157.0 innings. Ernsberger totaled 170 strikeouts, posted a 1.33 WHIP and .964 fielding percentage, and finished her Dakota Wesleyan career as a two-time First Team All-GPAC selection and NFCA Second Team All-Region honoree.
High School
Ernsberger competed in softball, basketball, and volleyball at Granville High School in Ohio, where she established herself as one of the state's top pitchers. She earned First Team All-League honors twice after receiving Second Team All-League and Honorable Mention All-League recognition earlier in her career. She was also named First Team All-District, earned Honorable Mention All-District honors, was selected as the Ohio Central District Player of the Year, and received Division II First Team All-State recognition. Ernsberger finished her prep career with 628 strikeouts in the circle while batting .424 at the plate. In the classroom, she was an Honor Roll student, was invited to join the National Honor Society, ranked in the 65th percentile nationally on her Spanish III assessment, and completed college coursework through the Ohio State University-Newark College Credit Plus program.
