High School
McCoy graduated from Boulder Creek High School in Phoenix, Arizona, where she competed in softball. She earned two Honorable Mention selections and a Second Team All-Region honor while playing varsity softball. Academically, she completed honors-level coursework in Algebra 1–2, Algebra 3–4, and Pre-Calculus. She also played for Arizona Storm Downes.

Personal
She is the daughter of Carrie and Ian Tull and has two siblings, Kiley and Miranda. Her major is Business Administration.
