Biography

CAREER SECTION:

A premier defensive anchor and highly resilient student-athlete who provides exceptional leadership behind the plate and immense durability on the diamond. Following a spectacular 2025 sophomore campaign where she batted a blistering .336, she continued to be an absolute mainstay for the program by starting every single game during her 2026 junior season. A model student-athlete, she has consistently paired elite, high-volume defensive mastery at the catcher position with classroom excellence, officially earning prestigious recognition as an NSIC All-Academic Team member.

2026 (Junior):

Demonstrated elite durability and leadership by starting all 54 games for the Cougars behind the plate during her junior campaign, while also earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors. Batted .192 (25-for-130) on the year, tallying three doubles, a home run, 11 runs scored, and 18 RBI, while successfully swiping five bases. Proved to be a clutch asset in the lineup with six multi-hit performances, highlighted by a season-high two hits against rival Augustana on April 19. Drove in a season-high three RBI in a victory over American International on March 7, and crossed home plate three times against Southwest Minnesota State on April 8. Defensively, she was a premier force in the conference, handling an immense workload to post a stellar .986 fielding percentage, totaling 329 putouts and 35 assists.

2025 (Sophomore):

Put together a phenomenal sophomore season, cementing her role as a vital offensive and defensive asset by starting 42 of the 48 games she appeared in. Powered the Cougars' offense with a stellar .336 batting average (40-for-119), showcasing an impressive combination of gap-to-gap power and speed to record seven doubles, a triple, two home runs, 22 runs scored, and 13 RBI, alongside six stolen bases. Managed her pitching staff with great poise while maintaining an elite defensive standard, wrapping up the year with a brilliant .984 fielding percentage.
