High School Rasmussen graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where she competed in volleyball and softball. She earned All-Conference and All-City honors and received National Honor Society and All-Academic recognition. She also played for Nebraska Echoes.

Personal She is the daughter of Cindy and Jeff Rasmussen and has one sibling, Morgan. Her major is undecided.
