Biography
2024-25 (Freshman)
Vaaler played a key role for the Cougars in her first season, appearing in all 31 games and earning 24 starts. She logged 628 minutes on the court (20.3 per game) and scored 267 points, averaging 8.6 per contest. She shot 40.8% from the field (98/240) and 30.7% from beyond the arc (35/114), while also making 36 free throws at an efficient 81.8% clip. On the glass, she pulled down 147 rebounds (16 offensive, 131 defensive) for an average of 4.7 per game. She rounded out her stat line with 36 assists, 6 blocks, and 20 steals.
High School
A two-sport athlete at Andover, Vaaler competed in basketball and softball for the Huskies. She was named Northwest Suburban Conference All-Conference as a junior and earned Honorable Mention honors as a sophomore. Over her high school career, she totaled 753 points, 402 rebounds, 115 assists, and 89 steals. She also competed with the Minnesota Fury.
