Biography

Career

Over four seasons with the Cougars, Honner played in 111 games, totaling 2,505 minutes on the court. She scored 590 career points while shooting 43.8% (244/557) from the field and 39/144 from three-point range. At the free-throw line, she converted 63 of 89 attempts. Defensively, she collected 312 rebounds, dished out 127 assists, and added 26 blocks and 72 steals to her career totals.

2024-25 (Senior)

Honner appeared in all 31 games, averaging 10.7 minutes per contest. She contributed 72 points on the season while shooting an efficient 48.2% (27/56) from the field and 45.5% (10/22) from beyond the arc. At the free-throw line, she connected on eight attempts. On the boards, she pulled down 49 rebounds, including 23 on the offensive end. She also recorded 14 assists, six blocks, and 13 steals.

2023-24 (Junior)

Honner was a key contributor for the Cougars, playing in 27 games and earning 26 starts. She logged 789 minutes (29.2 per game) and provided a steady presence on both ends of the floor. She shot 44.4% (72/162) from the field and 28.9% (13/45) from three. She grabbed 83 rebounds, with 15 coming on the offensive end. Additionally, she recorded 40 assists, nine blocks, and 24 steals while finishing the season with 172 points, averaging 6.4 per game.

2022-23 (Sophomore)

Stepping into a larger role, Honner started all 26 games and played 803 minutes (30.9 per game). She shot 44.5% (101/227) from the field and 23.8% (10/42) from three-point range. She was a strong presence on the glass, securing 101 rebounds, including 15 on the offensive end. She also dished out 46 assists and contributed defensively with seven blocks and 18 steals. She finished the season with 234 points, averaging 9.0 per game.

2021-22 (Freshman)

In her first season with the Cougars, Honner played in 27 games and made 18 starts, logging 579 total minutes (21.5 per game). She shot 39.9% (44/112) from the field and 17.1% (6/35) from three. At the free-throw line, she converted 18 of 24 attempts (75.0%). She also tallied 79 rebounds (14 offensive), 27 assists, four blocks, and 17 steals while scoring 112 points, averaging 4.1 per game.

High School

A three-year starter at Harrisburg High School, Honner totaled 534 points throughout her prep career. She earned honorable mention Eastern South Dakota Conference recognition as a sophomore before being named to the AA All-State Team as a junior after leading her team to the State AA Tournament. During her junior season, she averaged 11.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 45% from the field and 33% from three. Over her career, she shot 43% from the field, 38% from three, and 76% from the free-throw line. She also competed with Bartlett Basketball Academy and South Dakota Attack.
