Wade Adamson enters his fifth season as a volunteer assistant coach with the University of Sioux Falls Women's Basketball program in 2026-27.
Adamson brings more than two decades of coaching experience to the Cougar staff. Prior to joining USF, he spent 14 years as a varsity girls basketball assistant coach at Willmar High School in Willmar, Minnesota. During his tenure, the Cardinals captured six conference championships, six conference runner-up finishes, two section championships, five section runner-up finishes, and made two state tournament appearances.
In addition to his work with the girls program, Adamson also served as an assistant boys basketball coach at Willmar for 12 years.
A native of Willmar, Minnesota, Adamson earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from South Dakota State University.
Adamson and his family remain active supporters of the program. He is the proud father of Alison, Wade Jr., and Austin, and grandfather to Harper, Nora, and Kara.
