High School
Salter was a two-sport athlete at Brandon Valley High School, competing in basketball and soccer. She earned All-Conference honors and was named a Second Team All-State selection. Academically, she was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal
Salter plans to study occupational therapy at USF. She is the daughter of Jill and Craig Salter and has a younger sibling, Quinn.
