Biography

CAREER: Two-time Academic All-NSIC selection (2017-18, 2018-19) and two-time All-NSIC selection (2017-18, 2nd team; 2018-19, 1st team)...ranks in USF's top-five in the DII era in five different statistical categories...has made 89 starts and played in 90 games, accumulating 1,188 points, which ranks third in USF's DII era and 13th overall...in USF's DII era, ranks second with 192 made three-pointers (2nd, DII era), which is fourth all-time overall at USF...With 90 starts she is third in the DII era with 89 games played for eighth....has the second (462, 2017-18) and third (485, 2018-19) best scoring seasons in the DII era...hit 427 field goals on 1,019 attempts (41.9 percent) with her field goals third all-time...with an 13.2 career scoring average, ranks third in the DII era....has a program-best (DII) free throw percentage of .855 (142-of-166)...with 167 assists ranks fourth at USF...her 530 three-point field goal attempts ranks second all-time and her 89 game starts is second...has fouled out twice...has 65 double digit scoring games, with a streak of 31 straight heading into senior season...has recorded 16 games with 20 points or more, including a career-best 29 vs. Minnesota Crookston on Jan. 13, 2018...has 75 games with a made three-pointer...own 53 games with two or more three-pointers and 37 games with three or more treys...15 times has made four threes or more in a game with four of five or more and one with six...had a career-best six threes at Augustana on Dec. 31, 2016, a total which ranks sixth in the USF DII era record book...has three of the top-10 three-point marks at USF with 71, 2nd, 67 (fourth) in 2017-18 in 29 games; and 54 in 30 games in 2016-17, ninth...her 197 three point attempts in 2017-18 is second all-time at USF...ranks first for a season in free throw percentage at .869 (59-of-68) in 2017-18.

2018-19:  Selected All-NSIC first team - her second straight all-league honor (second-team in 2017-18)...named Academic All-NSIC for a second straight year...started all 31 games and led USF to a 23-8 record and No. 3 seed in the NSIC Postseason Tournament...helped USF advance to the tourney semifinals for a fourth straight year...accumulated 485 points by averaging 15.6 ppg...had 26 double-digit scoring games with eight hames of 20 points or more....had a season-high 28  points against Augustana on 2/22/19...logged 917 minutes with 11 games of 35 minutes or more...made 171-of-362 field goals for 47.2 percent....hit 71-of-178 field goals for 39.9 percent....made a three in 29-of-31 games....19 times had at least two threes in a game....14 times made at least three triples...had four or more treys six times with five made three on three occasions - @ SCSU,(5-of-7) on 12-15-18; vs. Bemidji State  (5-of-8) on 2/1/19; and vs. Upper Iowa (5-of-9) on 2/16/19...was 72-of-83 at the foul line for 86.7 percent...averaged 2.4 rebounds per game with 75 total - 24 on the offensive glass...totaled 63 fouls but did not foul out...had 55 assists with a high of five at Wayne State on 2/23/19....had 49 turnovers...registered 30 steals. 

2017-18: Named Academic All-NSIC...selected All-NSIC on the second team...ranked fourth in the NSIC in points per game at 15.9 per game, a mark which ranks second best in USF's DII era...was third in the NSIC with 2.3 three pointers per game with her 67 treys (fourth at USF all-time) also third in the NSIC...started all 29 games in leading USF to 16-13 record and berth in the NSIC Quarterfinals...logged 952 minutes or 32.8 per game, including 727 minutes or 33.0 per game in league play...hit 168-of-419 field goals for 40.1 percent...the 168 field goals made is the third-best total and 419 attempted field goals, second-best in the program's DII era...made 67-of-197 three-pointers while hitting 59-of-68 free throws for 86.8 percent, which ranks as the best percentage total the best in the program's DII era...at 86.8 percent from charity stripe, ranked third in the NSIC...pulled down 80 rebounds including 68 on the defensive end and averaged 2.8 boards per contest...had 80 fouls, including fouling out twice...registered 59 assists and 64 turnovers with a block and 29 steals...finished with 462 points, which ranks second in USF's DII era...had 20 games with 15 or more points, including seven of 20 points or better...registered a career-high 29 points against Minnesota Crookston on Jan. 13, 2018 at the Stewart Center...29 points ranks sixth in USF's DII era...her 12 made field goals is second in the USF DII era for a game...also in that game with Minnesota Crookston, put up 25 shots, the most by a player in the DII era...scored in double digits in all 29 games...had a career-best eight rebounds vs. Minnesota Crookston on Jan. 13, 2018 and six assists on Jan. 12, 2018 against Bemidji State...had seven games with four or more three pointers, including a season high vs MSU Moorhead on Jan. 27, 2018...recorded a three in 26-of-29 games, including 19 games with two or more threes...had 12 games with three or more treys.

2016-17: Played key role as Cougars reached the NSIC Tournament Championship game for the second straight year, falling to Northern State, 55-52 at the Sanford Pentagon...part of 22-8 team that finished 15-7 in league play...started 29 and played in 30 games...logging 708 minutes...hit 88-of-238 field goals for 37 percent, including 54-of-156 from three-point range for 34.6 percent...made 11-of-14 free throws for 78.6 percent...also had 31 rebounds (1.0 avg. per game), including 25 on defensive end...recorded 50 personal fouls, 53 assists, 29 turnovers, blocked three shots and had 20 steals...finished with 241 points or 8.0 per game...in league play had 167 points or 7.6 ppg...hit 38-of-111 three pointers in league while hitting 7-of-9 free throws and 61-of-171 for 35.7 percent from the field during 22 games played and 21 starts...had 10 games with double digit points, including a season-high 22 at Augustana on Dec. 31, 2016...had a season-high four rebounds at Wayne State on Dec. 30, 2016...scored in 24-of-30 games...had 15 games of two or more three point field goals and had 20 games with at least one three point field goals...had 11 games with three or more three-pointers and four games of four or more threes, including a season-high six treys (11 attempts) against Augustana on Dec. 31, 2016...registered a rebounds in 20 different games...three times had five or more assists, including a season-high of six against Minnesota State at the Stewart Center on Jan. 20, 2017.

HIGH SCHOOL: A multiple-time all-state selection.. landed on the Iowa Newspaper Association Class 3A All-State first team two straight seasons as junior and senior...as senior, averaged 22.0 ppg, scoring 64 in two state tournament games...recorded 35 in a 102-91 state tournament semifinal loss to eventual champion Pocahontas Area...finished career with 1,780 points...as a senior ranked third in Iowa 3A scoring with 591 points, including hitting 53 percent from field and making 60-of-129 three point shots...five-year starter for Cherokee Washington High School...eclipsed 1,000 career points before junior (1,189 points)...avg. 23.7 ppg, 50.7 percent shooting from the field, 41.9 percent on threes, as a junior...averaged just under 20 ppg as sophomore and 12 ppg as a freshman...averaged at least four assists and 3.8 assists in her first three years of varsity basketball... ...unanimous all-conference selection as a sophomore and junior and was named to four different all-state squads for the 2014-15 season...named to the volleyball all-conference first team three times, and softball all-conference list three times, while earning three track and field letters.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Troy and Julie Hummel...three-time honor roll recipient and member of the National Honor Society in high school...mother, Julie, played volleyball and basketball at Wayne State College from  1986-89...majoring in business administration at Sioux Falls.
