Biography

Career
One of the most accomplished players in program history through her first two collegiate seasons, Wadsworth has established herself as one of the premier scorers in the NSIC and across NCAA Division II. A two-time All-Conference standout, she has started all 58 games of her career, totaling 1,806 minutes while averaging 17.0 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Wadsworth has scored 985 career points while adding 273 rebounds, 119 assists, 48 steals, and 11 blocks, cementing herself as one of the most impactful players in recent Cougar history.

2024-25 (Sophomore)
Wadsworth delivered one of the most dominant individual seasons in USF women’s basketball history, earning First Team All-NSIC honors while rewriting the Division II-era record book. She started all 31 games, averaging 18.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.3 percent from the field, 44.9 percent from three-point range, and 86.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Her 585 total points set the USF Division II-era single-season scoring record, while her 18.9 points per game also established a new program DII benchmark. Wadsworth reached double figures in 29 of 31 games, scored 20 or more points 12 times, and topped the 30-point mark twice. She also set USF DII-era records for free throws made (126) and free throws attempted (146).

Wadsworth earned two NSIC Shining 5 recognitions during the season, highlighted by a weekend where she averaged 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists, followed later by another stretch averaging 21.5 points and 6.0 rebounds on 54.1 percent shooting. Her career-high 31-point performance came in the season finale against Northern State, where she knocked down 13 field goals. She also earned CSC Academic All-District honors for her work in the classroom.

2023-24 (Freshman)
Wadsworth made an immediate national impact in her freshman season, earning World Exposure Report NCAA Division II Freshman of the Year, NSIC Freshman of the Year, and USF Athlete of the Week honors. She started all 27 games while averaging 14.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, scoring 400 points in a remarkable debut campaign. She shot 44.7 percent from the field while adding 50 assists, 23 steals, and seven blocks.

High School
Wadsworth starred at Hamlin High School, where she graduated as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,896 career points. A five-time letterwinner and four-time All-Conference selection, she earned All-State honors three times and helped lead her team to four state tournament appearances, earning All-Tournament Team recognition on three occasions.

She averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 56.7 percent from the field and 82.7 percent from the free-throw line. As a senior, Wadsworth was named South Dakota Miss Basketball, Keloland Player of the Year, and Sanford Pentagon Player of the Year.
