Biography
High School
Backhaus was a multi-sport athlete at Wisconsin Dells High School, competing in basketball and track and field. She earned First Team All-Conference honors in each of her four seasons and was named an All-State Honorable Mention selection. Academically, she earned Academic All-State recognition.
Personal
Backhaus plans to major in biology at USF. She is the daughter of Holly and Erik Backhaus and has two older brothers, Preston and Westley.
