Career
A sharp-shooting guard who provided instant offense and defensive energy in her first collegiate season, Murtaugh appeared in 29 games with seven starts for the Cougars, totaling 446 minutes while averaging 15.4 minutes per contest. She scored 116 points, knocked down 26 three-pointers, and added 36 assists with 31 steals, quickly establishing herself as a valuable perimeter contributor.

2025-26 (Freshman)
Murtaugh played in all 29 games during her freshman campaign, making seven starts while averaging 4.0 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and just over one steal per game. She shot 34.6 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from three-point range, and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line.

She delivered several impactful performances throughout the season, including a career-high 16 points against St. Cloud State, where she went 4-of-6 from the field, hit three triples, and added five rebounds. Murtaugh also scored 13 points with six rebounds against Minot State, posted 12-point outings against Southwest Minnesota State and Wayne State, and recorded a season-high four steals at Bemidji State. Her ability to stretch the floor and create defensive pressure made her a key piece in the Cougar backcourt rotation.

High School
Murtaugh was a standout guard at Papillion-La Vista High School in Nebraska, where she averaged 24.0 points and 2.5 assists per game for the Monarchs. She earned First Team All-State honors, was recognized as an All-Academic selection, and competed with the Nebraska Attack club program.

Personal
Murtaugh is the daughter of Kerri and Ryan Murtaugh and has two brothers, Brock and Tyler. A nursing major at USF, she plans to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse.
