High School

While attending Willmar High School, Volk competed in both volleyball and hockey. During her high school career, she recorded totals of 1033 digs and 737 kills. She was well decorated as an athlete, receiving awards such as, All-State, All-Area, 3x All-Conference, 2x Captain, 2x MVP, and Rookie of the Year. She received academic honors as well such as AVCA Best and Brightest, Academic All-State, Honor Roll, graduating with high honors, and being inducted into the National Honor Society.

She is the daughter of Shane and Stephanie Volk and has two siblings, Abigail and Jonathan.
