High School

During her high school career, Peterson competed in both volleyball and golf. As a four year varsity player, she recorded totals of 1024 assists, 698 kills, 597 digs, and 147 aces. She is a 1x first team All-Conference athlete as well as a 2x second team All-Conference member. As a student, she received Academic All-Conference honors all four years.

Personal
Peterson has 123 hours of community service and serves as a mentor for Big Brother Big Sister of Siouxland. She is a daughter to Lisa and Matt Braet and Jerry Peterson. She has two siblings, Sam and Jack.
