2011 (JUNIOR): Embraced a starting role, appeared in all but one match (149 total sets)...racked up 168 kills (1.13 per set) which was fifth-best on the team...her 31 assists (0.21) was fourth-best on the team...stood third on the team with a career-high 88 total blocks...also had 13 aces. Her best match of the season came in the 3-2 come from behind win against Black Hills State (10/1), when she posted a career-high 13 kills on 22 swings for a .455 clip while also posting two aces and four block assists for a season-high 17 points...also had 12 kills on 23 swings (.391) with three blocks in a five-set victory versus Henderson State (10/14)...had a season-high six blocks in a 3-1 loss to Bellevue (9/24)...received 2011-12 student-athlete all academic award.

2010 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 38 matches (117 sets)...finished third on the team in blocks per game (.49)...recorded 153 kills.

2009 (FRESHMAN): Logged significant playing time as a rookie...finished third on the team in total kills (202), kills per game (1.53) and fourth in blocks (66).

HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the Lincoln Patriots squad that took fifth place in the 2008 State AA Volleyball Tournament...selected All-Tournament, All-City and First Team All-Conference...also a member of the National Honor Society...honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Nursing major...daughter of Frank and Deb Kohler...has an older sister, Amy...SAAC member...plans to work as a pediatric companion at Sanford Children's Hospital upon graduation from USF...has a cat named Elvis.
