The University of Sioux Falls baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader to Augustana College at Ronken Field Sunday, dropping three of four in the weekend series.
USF falls to 10-28, while Augustana improves to 24-13.
The Vikings now hold a 23-9 all-time edge in the series.
Senior righty Brady Nolz turned in a solid outing in the opener, but Viking Jack Goihl delivered a two-out walk off single in the bottom of the seventh to give Augustana a 3-2 victory.
Nolz (0-8) gave up three runs on six hits in a complete-game, losing effort for the Cougars. Noah Coleman, who pitched seven innings in the Cougars' 6-5 win over the Vikings on Saturday, led his team offensively, going 2 for 3 with an RBI.
The Vikings exploded for 15 hits and made good use of six Cougar errors to take game two in a 13-3 win that ended by mercy rule.
USF sophomore right-hander Derek Fischer (5-2) battled through five innings, but a lackluster defense forced an early exit and he was charged with the loss, allowing five runs (three earned) on nine hits.
USF trailed 5-2 going into the bottom of the sixth when the Vikings plated eight runs off the Cougars' bullpen to put the mercy rule into effect.
USF managed one run in the seventh but could not close the double-figure Viking lead.
Anthony Williams, Danny Hughes and Zach Ireland each posted an RBI. The Cougars left five runners stranded.
The Cougars will travel to Brookings on Tuesday to face South Dakota State (12-24).
