GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four members of the University of Sioux Falls Baseball team have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, recognizing their outstanding achievements both in the classroom and on the field. Junior Mitch Iliff, junior Brady Baur, senior William Edwards, and redshirt junior Casey Sehr earned the prestigious honor for the Cougars.

The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic accomplishments. Student-athletes selected to the Academic All-District® Team represent excellence in competition while maintaining strong academic performance in the classroom.

Iliff was one of the top offensive performers for the Cougars throughout the 2026 season, earning All-NSIC First Team honors and ABCA/Rawlings All-Region recognition while helping lead USF to a 26-win campaign.

Baur served as a key contributor on the mound for Sioux Falls, providing valuable innings and consistency throughout the season as part of the Cougar pitching staff.

Edwards wrapped up a standout collegiate career in 2026, serving as a veteran leader for the Cougars both on and off the field. The senior outfielder was a key part of the USF lineup and exemplified the commitment to academic and athletic excellence celebrated by the CSC program.

Sehr continued his strong career in the Cougar infield, contributing offensively and defensively while maintaining excellence in the classroom. The Luverne, Minnesota native adds Academic All-District® honors to an impressive collegiate resume.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with Academic All-America® teams scheduled to be announced on June 23.

The quartet helped guide Sioux Falls to a 26-26 overall record and an appearance in the NSIC Baseball Tournament during the 2026 season.
