SIOUX FALLS. -- The University of Sioux Falls Baseball Team (0-3) will look for its first win of the season when the Cougars play four combined games against Rogers State (Okla.) (7-2) and Drury University (0-6) at US Baseball Park in Springfield, Mo., March 2-4.
USF will open play against Rogers State at 6 p.m., on Friday. On Saturday, the Cougars will face host school Drury at 2:30 p.m., and Rogers State at 6 p.m. On Sunday, the Cougars will conclude the trip with a 2:30 p.m., match up against Drury University.

The Cougars opened the season with three losses to Metro State, 5-2, 14-3 and 17-8. Rogers State has opened 7-2 and own a four-game winning streak. Drury has started the season with six losses.

Rogers State is located in Claremore, Okla., and a member of the Heartland Conference in NCAA DII. Led by junior infielder Zack Mann, who is hitting .447 with 11 RBI, Rogers State is raking .341 as a team with two home runs and 67 RBIs. As a team, they have a .438 on-base percentage and have limited opponents to .279. Also for the Hillcats, junior infielder Grant Farris is hitting .414 and junior infielder Blake Chiaramonte, .394. Through nine games, the Hillcats a 1.85 earned run average with two starters 2-1, including Spencer Bivens (1.08 ERA, 16 2/3 innings, 15 strikeouts) and Tim Luce (1.53 ERA, 17 2/3 innings, 16 strikeouts).

Drury is a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference in NCAA DII and located in Springfield, Mo. This season, the Panthers have struggled on offense with a .192 batting average. KK Daniel is hitting .333 with six hits and four RBIs while Caleb Essick is at .316. Drury has scored 18 runs with 37 hits and 16 RBIs but no home runs. To this point, the Panthers own an on-base percentage of .269 and .233 slugging mark. Opponents are hitting .323 with a .444 on-base percentage. As a staff, Drury has a 7.94 ERA, allowing 45 earned runs in 51 innings.
Rehwaldt earns POW honors for first time

Rehwadt hit .727 in the opening weekend of play (Metro State, Feb. 16-18) and picked up his first-ever Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Week honor on Feb. 20. Rehwaldt, a 6-6, 240 pound standout from Burnsville, Minn., registered eight hits in 11 at bats against Metro State. He also had two home runs, six RBIs and two runs scored. Rehwaldt, who was named by NSIC coaches as "Player to Watch" in the preseason, owns a 1.273 slugging percentage and a .714 on-base percentage. In a 17-8 loss to Metro State on Feb. 18,
Rehwaldt had four hits in five at bats with a home run and three RBIs. He recorded three hits with two RBIs in a 14-3 loss to Metro State. In the opener, he had a hit and RBI in a 5-2 loss to the Roadrunners.
Rehwaldt, a business major at USF, has 12 career HRs, 96 RBI, 154 hits, and 88 runs in making 101 career starts. He also has 23 multi RBI games and 49 multi-hit games. A year ago

Dylan Gavin, who was also named by the NSIC as a preseason "Player to Watch" on USF, has a 4.26 ERA after one start. He worked 6 1/3 innings, allowing three earned runs and five hits with a pair of strikeouts. Also making starts in the opening weekend was sophomore
