Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Sioux Falls Women's Tennis Team (7-3) dropped its second straight match in falling to Dallas Baptist (7-5) in nonconference play on Monday afternoon.
The Cougars played the first of four matches during their spring break trip this week (March 12-16) to Orlando, Fla. USF is scheduled to face Millersville (Pa.) at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Orlando.
After a rain relay, DBU defeated USF in all six singles matches in straight sets and captured the doubles, 3-0.
USF head coach
Kevin Grebin, felt the his team put together a really solid effort.
"Considering this was our first match outside and with 25 miles per hour winds, I felt everyone put forth a really solid effort and contested every point. We will try and rebound against Millersville on Tuesday."
For the first time this year, USF has lost consecutive matches as they fell to 7-3 overall. USF is now 2-1 in nonconference matches.
