NORFOLK, Va. – For the third consecutive season, University of Sioux Falls Swimming received Scholar All-America team honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), according to a release on Tuesday (Jan. 22).

The Cougars earned the honor for the second time in as many semesters. Led by Head Swimming Coach
Chris Hamstra, the USF Swimming team posted a 3.47 GPA this fall, which ranked second among the seven Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams honored.
To qualify for the Scholar All-America distinction, teams must maintain a grade point average 3.0 for that current semester. The CSCAA awards teams that qualify each fall and spring semester as well as honoring individual swimmers upon the completion of the spring season. The CSCAA selected a record 713 teams from 460 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team. A total of 16,502 student-athletes were honored.
