BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The University of Sioux Falls Women's Basketball Team (21-7) has earned the No. 2 seed in the South Division and will host the North No. 7 seed Minnesota Crookston (10-18) in the opening round of the NSIC Sanford Health Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m., at the Stewart Center.
The 2019 NSIC / Sanford Health Women's Basketball Tournament bracket has been released as the regular season ended Saturday night. MSU Moorhead earned its third straight overall NSIC Title and fourth straight NSIC North Division Championship as they finished the regular season at 19-3. Concordia-St. Paul earned the South Division title with its 17-5 record. USF finished 16-6 in league play and one game behind CSP to earn the No. 2 seed. Tickets will be $12 for adults and $3 for students. USF fans can purchase tickets at

The first round of the tournament is set for Wednesday, February 27 played on the campus of the top four seeds in each division. The quarterfinals, semifinals and championship will take place on March 2, 4-5 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. All rounds of the NSIC/Sanford Health Women's Basketball Tournament played at the Sanford Pentagon will to aired live on MidcoSN and streamed for free via Stretch Internet.
