St. Joseph, MO - The Holiday Inn Express Classic began today after a weather delay. USF Men's Golf holds 14th place shooting 28-over at 312 after the first round. The Cougars sit one stroke ahead of rival Augustana.
Due to weather conditions causing a delayed start, only the first round of the competition was held today. The second and third rounds will be played tomorrow, October 12th.
Leading team: Central Oklahoma- four-under 280.
Individual leader: Central Oklahoma's Caleb Kimmel, three-under 68.

Cole Harste- t44th, six-over 77, 38-39, birdie on 510-yard hole 17, 11 pars.
Jimmy Clark- t54th, seven-over 78, 36-42, four birdies: 381-yard hole 2, 443-yard hole 6, 529-yard hole 10, 510-yard hole 17. Six pars.
Austin Boomsma- t54th, seven-over 78, 40-38, birdie on 510-yard hole 17, 11 pars.
Gavin Metz- t59th, eight-over 79, 40-39, birdie on 443-yard hole 6, 12 pars
Jack Evans- t82nd, 12-over 83, 46-37, birdie on 381-yard hole 2, 510-yard hole 17 and 489-yard hole 18. Six pars.
