Hays, KS – The final round of the FHSU Tiger Classic came to a close today marking the end of the fall season for USF Men's Golf. The Cougars finished in 13
th place on the windy par 70 course.
USF followed its 315 and 304 on the first day with a 37-over 317 on the final day to give them a total 96-over 936 which placed them 13
th in the event.
"We had a handful of good individual performances.
Austin Boomsma showed his potential with his consistent play and
Cole Harste has improved all season," said Head Coach
Wade Merry. "It was a tough course to play with how windy it was; even the winning team was over par. The course challenged our guys and they responded well. We've got a lot of potential heading into this break and we're excited to improve so we can put our best foot forward in the spring."
