Sioux Falls, SD – The University of Sioux Falls Swimming team will take part in the Augustana Invitational this week. The event will be hosted at the Midco Aquatic Center with each day holding two sessions. Thursday is slated for 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. while start times on Friday and Saturday will be at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Fourteen teams will attend the event with the field consisting of schools from all NCAA divisions plus two NAIA schools and two NJCAA schools.
USF last swam on November 5
th and 6
th at the Coyote Extravaganza where the Cougars battled against primarily DI competition. Several USF swimmers placed in the top three during the event despite the DI talent in the pool.
Inte Pas also claimed USF's lone win in the event.
This will be the Cougars final swim until after the new year. USF will return to the pool on January 8
th in Moorhead, Minnesota to kick off the back half of their 2021-22 season in a dual with MSU Moorhead.
