TOPEKA, KS – After a windy first day in Topeka, KS the USF Men's Golf team sits 89-over par with 657 (337-320) in 18
th place.
Jack Evans leads the Cougars with his 10-over par 152 that placed him in the top-30 through two rounds in the Washburn Invitational.
After the first day USF sit 16 strokes away from fellow NSIC member, Upper Iowa who concluded the day with 641 (324-317). Overall, Arkansas Tech's 587 (295-292) has taken the lead over host Washburn's 588 (294-294) with Henderson in 3rd after shooting 592 (296-296). Individually, Southwestern Oklahoma State's Gregor Weck stands as the only player on the course under par with a one-under par 141. Behind him are Dawson Wills from Washburn with 143 (73-70) and Cade Uhlenhake from Washburn and Central Missouri's Nick Westrich both with 144.
