LAKE CITY, MN - The USF Men's Golf team will head to Lake City, Minnesota for the Watkins Invitational on September 27th and 28th. The Cougars will feature Gavin Metz, Jack Evans, Jake Oetzmann, Anthony Cylkowski, Cole Harste and Nathan Woodall at the Watkins Invitational.
Highlights from the Cougars first two tournaments:
Washburn Invitational - 18th place, 978 (337-320-321)
-Jack Evans placed T53rd with an 18-over par 231 (75-77-79).
-Gavin Metz placed T80th with a 25-over 238 (77-81-80).
-Anthony Cylkowski made his collegiate debut with a 40-over 253 (90-82-81) to place 106th.
-Nathan Woodall placed T108th with a 43-over 256 (93-84-79)
-Austin Boomsma placed T111th with a 44-over 257 (93-83-81)
-Jake Oetzmann placed 114th with a 47-over 260 (96-82-82)
NSU Men's Golf Classic - 16th place, 896 (292-297-307)
-Metz tied for 21st place with a three-over 216 (69-72-75).
-Evans finished tied for 27th by posting a five-over 218 with scores of 69, 73, and 76.
-Cylkowski sank USF's only two eagles of the competition en route to an 18-over 231 (77-74-80) that placed him T86th.
-Cole Harste finished his collegiate debut with an 18-over 231 (76-77-78) that tied for 86th place.
-Oetzmann finished 98th overall with a 25-over 238 (78-79-81).
