LAKE CITY, MN - After the first day of the Watkins Invitational the USF Men's Golf team sits 26-over par at 314. The Cougars hold 11th place and are just one stroke out of 9th.

Winona State leads their out tournament at an even 288 with Washburn 10 strokes behind in 2nd place. Washburn's Dawson Wills leads the field at a three-under 69.

USF round one scores:

-Jack Evans: T5th, one-over 73

-Gavin Metz: T47th, eight-over 80

-Cole Harste: T47th, eight-over 80

-Anthony Cylkowski: T57th, nine-over 81

-Jake Oetzmann: T71st, 17-over 89

-Nathan Woodall: T41st, seven-over 79 (individual entry)

The Cougars will play the final 18 holes in Lake City tomorrow morning, September 28th.
