BURNSVILLE, MINN. -- Junior guard Dallie Hoskinson of the University of Sioux Falls Women's Basketball Team, who nearly recorded a triple-double (14 points, nine rebounds and eight assists) in a 74-58 win over U-Mary on Jan. 7, has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference South Division Player of the Week, according to an announcement by the league office (Monday, Jan. 10).

Hoskinson, who did not commit a turnover, hit 5-of-10 field goals and tied her career-high in assists (Winona State, 12-11-21) with eight while recording nine rebounds and 14 points. She now has 30 career double-digit scoring games with 10 at USF.  

A junior from Hugoton, Kan., Hoskinson became the second USF player (Megan Fannin, Dec. 13, 2021) to earn NSIC Weekly honors this season. She ranks eighth in the NSIC with 7.3 rebounds and assists with 3.9 per game while sitting sixth in the NSIC in steals with 2.5 per game. Her 37 total steals are the third highest total in the league.

Earlier this season, Hoskinson had a career-best performance vs Augustana on Dec. 2 with 20 points, eight rebounds and four steals. Hoskinson, who averages 9.1 points per game, has 21 career double-digit rebound games (12 at JCCC), including nine at USF. She has totaled five double-digit rebound game this season. In her career at USF, she has had three or more steals in a game seven times, including four or more three times. This year she has at least one steal in all but one game and four in four different games. With double-digit points in six games this season, she has now scored 248 points at USF and 425 at JCCC for 673 in her career.  Hoskinson has 583 total rebounds between JCC (367) and USF (216) for an average of 6.8 per game.  

Hoskinson and her USF teammates will host Mount Marty tonight (Monday, Jan. 10) at 6 pm at the Stewart Center. This weekend, they travel to MSU Moorhead and Northern State on Jan. 14-15.
